Asparagus crostini with ricotta, pecorino and basil

This is great for serving with drinks instead of a sit-down starter. Using only the tips looks better but I hate waste so I use the whole thing. If you plan to make another asparagus dish – soup or a tart – you could use the tips for this and keep the rest for later.
